18 Weeks - Deserves a Post of Its Own! (May 24-May 31)

Savannah has been busy this week hitting milestones left and right!

She rolled from tummy to back almost every day during week 18. She did it the first few times for Daddy while I was at work. He said he put her on her tummy in the tent for playtime, and he would look over a second later and she was on her back. After she did this 3x, he started trying to capture a video, but to no avail. Most of the time when we pull our phones out to take pictures or videos, Savannah puts her smile away :)

Luckily, on Saturday, I got to see it myself. We were working on tummy time on the master bed, and as soon as I'd put her down she'd flop herself over on to her back. As if to say, "no thanks, momma. I'm more comfy like this."

Savannah laughed for the first time during week 18. I was able to get her to laugh a couple of days back to back, but I haven't had much success the last 2 days. Sometimes when I get home from work, she is exhausted from her day and just wants peaceful snuggles with mommy and to feast.

Savannah has started grabbing her feet when she is on the changing table or her back. She isn't obsessed by them yet, but occasionally will just look and look at them, especially in the car.

Savannah had her 4 month check-up with Dr. Raley. He said she was perfect (he might have exaggerated, but it sure warmed mom and dad's hearts.) She weighed 11 lbs 5 oz, was 24.5 inches long and her head circumference was 15.55 inches. She is doing great on her growth curves for all of those things. She is over the 50th percentile in height.

Totally escaped her swaddle. Looks like an angel Halloween costume.

Some of our headbands finally fit! It's not that mommy doesn't like headbands, it's just our little head hasn't been big enough to keep them on! And we don't have hair yet to keep a bow in :)
Memorial Day Weekend Trip to Pawhuska - Stayed at the Million Dollar Inn - Savannah did great. Slept like a charm in the mini pack and play, and talked up a storm right before bed.
